"I absolutely love this restaurant. We eat here so often and bring family here when they visit. As an active duty service member I love the atmosphere and how it's centered towards us. I love how they give free desert to service members and veterans and I also love how you can purchase a reusable cup and if you bring it with you the next time you come you only pay for a refill. The food here is killer too!! 10/10!!!"

"Hands down the BEST bbq and sides dishes around. Never had it u til we moved to Virginia 3 years ago. We've tried few local joints but nothing stands close to Mission. The service is as good as the food. They sing Star Spangled Banner at noon daily, support our troops, veterans and the great ol' USA. You cant get any better than that. Keep up the great work, we're customers for life."

"This past Sunday (approx May 4th) my husband and I mutually agreed to have some food from the Mission Barbecue location in Norfolk Virginia. We had previously had Mission Barbecue food in College Park Maryland multiple years ago plus one of the jobs I am lucky to be employed at I noticed less than 8 weeks ago that there was some Mission Barbecue food being served (which is how I unexpectedly put two and two together that there was a Mission Barbecue in Norfolk). Anyhow my husband and I both had the scrumptious Ribeye meat deal that they are currently offering and we tried some of their brisket. Both the brisket and ribeye had the perfect blend of taste and juiciness. The employee handling our order was both professional and friendly. My husband had some mashed potatoes for his side while I chose the mac and cheese. There was a peach cobbler dessert that I chose to order and consume and that dessert had the perfect blend of sweetness with the complementary elements from the peaches. Luckily I easily paid for the food with money made from the companies I am currently employed with."

"Great place as usual, very cozy and military decorated. The cashier had an impossible english!. The food is amazing, beef brisket is a win win! Incredible how it is cooked, tender and tasty, all smoked flavour at the perfect balance. It is a mandatory to me if you like brisket. They have big ovens to cook slowly the Meat. Amazing!!"

"Great food and amazing service. A few sides I ordered tonight were ultimately out after ordering. The manager went out of her way to get me substitutions and gave me free cheesecakes. All of the staff went out of their way to get me anything I needed as well. They offered to help me carry everything to my car. You just don’t get customer service like that anymore."

Portion sizes for sandwhich(es) were more than what we were expecting. Definitely getting value for the money and in today's economy, that's hard to say for some places. And with an engaged Staff, customers were well looked after at all stages of the dining experience! Gets my Vote for going back again!"
